PUSH AFRICA Vocational Institute

Our vocational training drive is borne out of the problem of youth unemployment. The rate of unemployment in Nigeria and most African countries ranges from 40 to 85 percent and continues to worsen as the population increases. Also, we see that education in Nigeria is severely failing to provide young people with the skill sets needed to participate and compete in the job marketplace hence the need to champion the cause of vocation in our communities.

Though we do not currently have a vocational training center at the moment due to the shutdown of our training center during covid but we continue to collaborate with institutions and vocational centers across the country to support and empower young people to acquire skills in ICT, in auto-mechanic and carpentry skills, fashion design and catering services. After the skill training, our organization facilitates internships, entrepreneurial and work place training for all graduands.

All our graduands and alumni continue to get coaching, mentoring and support even after their training. This ensures that they stay relevant and up-to-date with business and work place trends at all times and also provide a sense of community for one another.
