Agricultural Interventions

One of PUSH AFRICA’s priority is to support rural communities through agricultural interventions by promoting indigenous crops, support the improve of soil fertility and innovating around smallholder farming techniques and providing needed support for profitable cultivation.

We are working to have our programs reach out to rural communities in the entire north central region of Nigeria to include all aspects of agricultural development from farmers communication to engaging communities, to creating participatory programs, securing partnerships, promoting value driven innovation and contributing to the entire agricultural value chain.

Our key focus states are Niger, Nasarawa and Benue states in Nigeria. We are committed to advancing more efficient and sustainable farming techniques and promoting the cultivation and marketing of indigenous crops, we want to ensure that our development impact is not measured by per acre profits alone but includes families’ access to healthcare, education and other critical values that enhances all round development for the communities.
